The founder first explored video and media production through a web and media development class while completing a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. During the COVID period, that interest became substantially more hands-on as organizations needed new ways to reach people. Early projects supported yoga instructors, fitness professionals, recreation therapists, training programs, and orientations.
Owner-led event production
The person who learns your event stays close to the work.
ON21 productions are personally planned and led from the first conversation through final delivery. The person who learns the event’s priorities remains closely involved as the production takes shape.

How ON21 began
A practical progression into live-event production.
ON21 grew through real production needs, each project building toward more coordinated event coverage.
That work expanded into multicamera graduation coverage. In 2024, a request to record a Fond du Lac middle-school musical opened the door to additional performing-arts work, including the Fond du Lac Community Theatre Red Carpet Revue.
ON21 Productions LLC was formed in November 2024. Since then, its work has included school and community theatre productions, concerts, ceremonies, competitions, interviews, and other community events—always with the production plan shaped around what the event actually needs.
A personal connection to the room
The whole event matters—not only the obvious focal point.
The founder participated in theatre, band, and show choir while growing up. Today, his wife and children are involved in local community theatre.
That connection brings an understanding of what participants, families, directors, and volunteers have invested before an event ever reaches the stage. For youth and ensemble performances especially, the recording should help people see the individuals and shared effort that made the event meaningful.
Coverage therefore looks beyond the primary speaker or performer. Reactions, transitions, ensemble members, audience responses, and small details all help someone watching later feel connected to what happened in the room.
Production philosophy
Professional where it matters. Right-sized for the event.
Professional production comes from preparation, appropriate coverage, coordinated audio, skilled operation, and dependable delivery. Equipment cost alone does not create more value for the client.
Designed around the actual event
Coverage is chosen for the audience, venue, schedule, priorities, and intended use—not to force every project into the same production template.
A production scale that can change
For a smaller production, the founder may operate a camera while managing the live switch. Larger events may include additional camera operators or technical specialists working under his direction.
Direct responsibility throughout
The person who learns what matters about the event remains closely involved in planning, production, and delivery, reducing handoffs and keeping priorities clear.
From recording to preservation
Recording the event is only part of the job.
Recordings of some of the founder’s own earlier performances once existed and were shown locally, but they are no longer readily accessible.
That experience helped shape a practical belief: completing a recording matters, but organizations also need a thoughtful way to preserve it and make it useful to the people it was created for.
Delivery is therefore considered as part of the production plan rather than as an afterthought. The right arrangement depends on the audience, permissions, intended use, and how the organization expects people to access the finished work.
When appropriate, ON21 can also support organized, controlled video delivery through Ludiom.
The ON21 name
A little oxygen. A quiet nod to being on air.
Air contains approximately 21% oxygen. The founder and his wife scuba dive, and ON21 is also a subtle play on the phrase “on air.”
It is a small personal reference behind a company focused on helping important events continue beyond the room.
